The Voice Project

Project "V.O.I.C.E.: Voice of Inclusion, Citizenship, Empowerment"

develop soft skills of people with fewer opportunities increasing their individual empowerment.

Fill the skill gap against social exclusion

Fragile people within the protection systems must be supported by social professionals to enhance their individual empowerment, in a process of social activation.

However, social professionals often lack of training experiences of active citizenship to promote the autonomy of the individuals, the capacity to recognize their own identity, the ability to activate processes of change.

Moreover, social professionals don’t have specific knowledge and awareness about digital citizenship rights, online safety and digital well-being, including cyberbullying, fake news and other forms of online misinformation.

The main goal of the project is to increase social awareness of people with fewer opportunities  and offer social workers and care givers that deal with different target groups [link to target groups page] the possibility to develop specific competences in order to help all the disadvantaged subjects to decrease their social exclusion.

Exchange and training for a shared European methodology

As a result of a shared work between 5 European partner organizations, specific training, study visit and comparison of good practices, Project V.O.I.C.E. promotes an in-depth knowledge of different models of active citizenship in various European countries and of the new citizenship rights on the web.

The Project Outputs are two operational tools shared between educators to structure and transfer working methods and promote active participation of fragile people.

They offer all European social workers codified intervention models with information, training resources, activities and methodology:

Give voice to the voiceless

Acquiring new skills, social workers can develop specific professional competences through tools, methodology and training resources, and help the more fragile social categories to understand their needs and their desires, their rights and their personal capacity, and to promote their individual empowerment.
